An Explanation for all you "young" Old Car Nuts: This site is named after what everyone with a car did when we were kids on Friday & Saturday nights - drag main! We drove endlessly up and down our home town's main street, beeping & waving at each other, - turning around in the Safeway lot at one end or the Dairy Queen at the other - you, of course, could park in one of those parking lots if you needed to save gas (after all at 29 cents a gallon!!) or if you just wanted to flirt! |
